There are two types of gaskets for sealing flanges: ring and full-face. Our Ring or Flange Gaskets can be fabricated out of virtually any material that we stock including non-asbestos, red sheet, neoprene, nitrile (Buna-n), EPDM, etc. When ordering, it is important to know the measurements and applications of use for your gasket.
Ring Gaskets
Placed between the pipe bore and the flange bolts; does not require full disassembly to install.
Please specify the following:
Internal Diameter (pipe bore diameter)
Outer Diameter (OD of the raised face)
Gasket thickness
What substances will be coming into contact with the gasket?
What temperatures or conditions will the gasket be exposed to?
Full-Face Gaskets
Has holes for the flange bolts to pass through; has the same OD as the flange; requires full disassembly to install.
Please specify the following:
Internal Diameter (pipe bore diameter)
Outer Diameter (flange OD)
Bolt Circle Diameter
Number of Bolt Holes
Gasket thickness
What substances will be coming into contact with the gasket?
What temperature or conditions will the gasket be exposed to?
